Bungee Jump Off Aidan's anyone?
Well tickle me sideways, its finally happened! For the first time ever in the history of Durham, a bungee jump will be going down (And hopefully back up again) in Aidan's town!
Once exams have finished, what better way to celebrate the end of the year than by bungee-ing from a crane atop our very own Aidan's hill for charity? With fully panoramic views of the rest of our glorious cirty shortly followed by a close up of the ground, this is officailly the most visually spectacular spectalce since Flubber came out. All you need to do is raise a measely £100, and dive into the harness!
If you think you have what it takes then email me back (greg.chambers@durham.ac.uk) asap to grab one of the 60 places available. At the moment, the jump is reserved for Aidanites only, but will be opened up to the whole Uni next week, so get in there fast!
Our marathons co-ordinator has also rustled up a couple of group jogs, so if this sort of endurance based fundraising is more your thing, then see below for details
The only thing left for me to say is this: need to lose a few pounds for the bungee?
One in the bum, job done.
