The Open Days will more than likely be the first experience you will have of St Aidan’s College and of Durham University. The Open Days reveal to many prospective students what it is like to live and learn here. Every year, Aidan’s opens its doors to prospective students both before they have received an undergraduate offer and after. We strongly recommend if you are considering an offer from St Aidan’s College, that you attend a Post-Application Open Day. This way, you may have a look at our college and experience for yourself why Aidan’s would be the right choice for you.
Many of our current students fondly remember their own Open Days and believe that they played an influential role in their final decision to come here. Having the unique opportunity to look around, to quiz some of our current students, and to get a feel for what living here is actually like, is the best way to come to the decision as to whether Durham would be the right place for you to study. Every year there is an enthusiastic team of voluntary Aidan’s students called ‘Open Day Reps’ who will take you on a tour around Aidan’s and will be more than happy to talk to you about your subject. They will also answer any general queries you may have and they will show you to any other parts of the University that you might like to see.
If you are unable to attend an Open Day we would be happy to give you a tour of Aidan’s at any time of year. Tours of college can be booked through our reception on 0191 334 5769 or by contacting our admissions secretary on 0191 334 5832. You may also email them directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to see you and to talk to you more in more detail about our college.
