Steering Committee

​The Steering Committee is led by the JCR Chair. It's all about keeping things democratic, meeting each term to review and fine-tune the Operating Policies and Procedures (OPPs), proposing updates to the Board of Trustees. They make sure JCR Meetings run smoothly by keeping things balanced—ushering in candidates, counting votes, and making sure everyone's voice is heard. The Steering Committee also facilitates interviews for all JCR roles, and meets to  review motions and manifestos, approving them before they're brought to JCR Meetings.
